At Famous Monsters’ Comic-Con panel on Friday, July 19, we announced Famous Monsters’ official partnership with X-Plus for American distribution!
FM has been stoked on X-Plus ever since we reported on the Deforeal Shin Godzilla figure, and thanks to Summit Kaiju, X-Plus’s line of deluxe vinyl figures will soon be available through the Captain Company webstore.
At San Diego Comic-Con 2019, the Famous Monsters booth is home to a display of exclusive X-Plus prototypes — including the brand new Deforeal King Ghidorah 2019 — and even the very first digital designs of the upcoming Deforeal Rodan and Deforeal Mothra 2019!
Also displayed are the currently on-sale Deforeal series Kong, Skull Crawler, and Godzilla 2019.
A sold-out Kong of Skull Island Deluxe Version prototype shares space next to the upcoming Kong Fighting Pose prototype.
But the true star of the show is the first-ever revealed prototype for X-Plus’s Gigantic Series Godzilla 2019. Measuring 38 inches from nose to tail, the monster cuts an impressive figure towering over the rest of the display.
